Australian book distributor and freight logistics business, XL Express has collapsed leading to supply delays for one of our major publishing partners.
XL Express was the Australian distributor for UK based publisher Taylor & Francis whose imprints include Speechmark, Routledge and David Fulton. Temporary distribution arrangements are in place but we are experiencing delays of 4-6 weeks on supply of many titles, particularly in the Speechmark range.
XL Express went into adminstration on 27th June and subsequently into liquidation on 1st August after it became clear that the business could not be salvaged.
